Hello Book Babe, My name is Amanda, and I own Her Place Books! I’m an open book(Pun intended). Maybe even to open of a book lol. So, if you have questions feel free to ask. I love being able to curate stories and from all different backgrounds.

I started Her Place Books out of necessity. After the elections results I was devastated like so many of us were. For me I had two options I could either leave and start over in a new country. Or I can stay and do my best to create a safe place. Now why a bookstore? Because knowledge is power. And so is your ability to dream, put yourself in a better situation mentally. Whether that be a temporary escape. Or visualization of physically putting yourself in a better space. Romance to know one it still exists and Fantasy to work our imaginations. Also so we can read all the morally grey shadow mommies and daddies lol. Love you lots already and I will see y’all in store.
